Dithering is fun and fast #

Dithering can decrease a file size by a great deal. This photo with three-color dithering is 7 kB, 69x smaller than the webp-compressed version which is 510 kB.

Four-color dither #

Dithering reduced this photo of a house from 1700 kB to 16 kB. Even with 4 colors, it’s 108x smaller.
